There are 7 capital city wine shows each year each having a best Cabernet /Bordeaux Varitial and a best Chardonnay
West Australia only grows 3 % of the cabernet grapes but in the past six years we have won 80 % of the trophies awarded (from2014-2019 )
West Australia has less than 2% of the Chardonnay and Margret River has won 16 of the 27 Chardonnays Trophies since 2016 to 2019 almost 60% of the trophies
