Delinquente Hell Piccole Bolle Field Blend
Delinquente's Hell - experimental, super small batch, boundary pushing wines.
This wine is mainly Malvasia – a lovely, sweet stone fruited variety which we threw together with a little lick of the other white varieties we work with – Vermentino, Arinto, Fernao Pires. All together, with a bit of skin contact, and bottled with just a little bit of residual sugar that has fermented away in the bottle to create “piccolo bolle” – or little bubbles.
Crazy aromatics, blooming flowers and citrus jump out the glass and invite the tendency for large swigging. Stonefruit and “Lemon-Lime Splice” on the palate, acidity and that barely there tickle of spritz on the tongue make it a slurper, designed for casual and speedy consumption with friends.
