There were a few international wines submitted in this blind tasting. This was the wine that we all agreed was the best of the lot. A staple on our international shelves, it’s always reassuring when our experts agree. A syrah base Cotes-du-Rhone, on the nose has bright aromas of red berries, blackcurrant, and subtle spices. On the palate, it has flavours of cherry, raspberry, and a touch of pepper, with a smooth and balanced, medium-bodied finish. Great for every day drinking and perfect with red meats.
