This is also notably ripe with similar aromas of cassis and earth that are trimmed in just enough floral and wood nuances to notice.
The texture and middle weight flavors are also similar in terms of being rich and opulent though here there is a bit more size and weight along with a subtle minerality that helps to add a bit of lift to the lavish and palate coating finale.
This firm, powerful and serious effort is also carrying more structure than is typical for the appellation so again at least some patience will be necessary.
