Charles Melton utilize a multitude of wine making techniques to produce complex high quality national and international award winning wines in the South Australian, Barossa Valley Region.
The Kirche is our homage to the great Australian Shiraz/Cabernet style. The 2017 is a beautifully aromatic wine, with the blackberry/briar Cabernet perfumes giving a real interest on the nose and also adding a degree of balancing finesse to the Shiraz components’ richness and weight. Some rounded tannic grip augers well for the longevity of this wine, with a lovely gentle, but apparent cut of acidity giving the wine some real vibrancy.
