Millbrook Regional Viognier 2022
Millbrook Regional Viognier is always made to a dry, modern style with savoury notes complemented by bright and generous fruit. Individual parcels of fruit were hand-picked in the cool of the night and were pressed directly to tank. Cold settled and hard racked to retain textural grape solids, the wine was then left on lees for three months to build texture and depth before being lightly fined and filtered prior to bottling.
The wine displays savoury fennel and bright green apples with a spicy hit of ginger on the nose.
Loaded with apricots and pithy mandarin with a restrained, linear acidity offering a rich yet refreshing mouthfeel.
Best enjoyed over the next three to five years.
