Hill Of Grace 2012 Shiraz red wine by Henschke, awarded 99 points, from a 5 Star and 2021 Winery of the Year rated by James Halliday, in the award winning SA Eden Valley Region. Producing exceptional international quality award winning wines as well as awards for sustainability and environmental excellence.
Hill of Grace is surely one of the most evocative phrases in the world of wine. It is a translation from the German ‘Gnadenberg’, a region in Silesia, and the name given to the lovely Lutheran church that overlooks the vineyard. The 4ha single-vineyard shiraz planting is situated at the historic village of Parrot Hill 4km north-west of Henschke Cellars.
Alluring exotic five spice, briary blackberry and black peppercorn, with herbaceous notes of thyme and sage, and silky tannins that lingers endlessly.
