Frazer Woods NV Sparkling Shiraz has been awarded 92 points rated by Huon Hooke. Frazer Woods is an exclusive 'Champagne Shed' of Margaret River. John Frazer prides himself on producing some of the best sparkling the region has to offer incorporating traditional methods and consistency across those methods. John grows all his Shiraz on site, while his Pinot and Chardonnay are sourced from other vineyards.
Aromas of rich cherry and plum, pepper and spice from the Shiraz fruit. Extended time on lees during secondary fermentation contribute complex aromas of pepper and spice. Refined structure built around unobtrusive fine tannins yields a long, clean finish with fruit flavours lingering to the end.
